Lights Up on Theater

Interactive theater education workshops for local community students

Lights Up on Theater is a partnership program with the Educational Alliance that provides theater education workshops to local 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students who attend the EA’s Summer Rising program. Over the course of 5 weeks in July and August, theater professionals curated by wild project lead 3-hour, once-a-week workshops that introduce and educate 30 students about the different creative aspects of theater. The hands-on, interactive sessions, hosted at wild project, help Summer Rising educators diversify their curriculum and maintain engagement.

The program culminates with a special performance by the students, that they’ve rehearsed throughout the 6-week summer camp, for friends and family at our 89-seat theater.
